Reina began her violin studies at the age of 5 under the Gifted Young Violinist Programme at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Violin Performance from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music on a full scholarship. A recipient of the Goh Soon Tioe Leadership Award, Reina has performed at renowned festivals worldwide. She served as assistant concertmaster and principal violinist at the Round Top Music Festival in Texas, performed at Festival Zeeland Klassiek in the Netherlands, and led an ensemble at the Thailand International Composition Festival, performing contemporary works by Xiaogang Ye, P.Q. Phan, among others. She has performed with the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra and served as concertmaster for YST Orchestra’s Spades of Fate concert. In Singapore, she regularly collaborates with leading ensembles, and has performed with Resound Collective and Red Dot Baroque. She has also. recorded Adeline Wong’s Montage.
Reina performs on a 1922 Carletti Carlo violin, generously loaned by the Rin Collection.
